A Night to Remember: BINGO FOR BRIGHT FUTURES!
Our reimagined annual scholarship fundraiser was nothing short of extraordinary!
On Thursday, August 21st, Ducks Stadium came alive as neighbors, friends, and supporters gathered for Bingo for Bright Futures—an evening filled with laughter, exciting prizes, and powerful community spirit.
For over 30 years, our scholarship program has proudly awarded more than 1,500 scholarships totaling over $2 million to students involved in FCA’s programs. These scholarships have opened doors to higher education and brighter futures for countless at-risk teens.
We’re profoundly thankful to everyone who made this event so special. Your presence and support fuel our mission—and we can’t wait to keep the momentum going!

Our 2024 Scholarship Breakfast was held in the CCB Building at Nassau Community College on June 25th.
“I don’t care what’s probable.
Through blood, sweat, and tears, I am unstoppable.”
A three-time all-American wrestler, Anthony Robles won the 2010-11 NCAA individual wrestling championship in the 125-pound weight class despite being born with only one leg. Anthony’s story of being “unstoppable” and his “words of wisdom” inspired our scholarship recipients who are each destined to be “unstoppable” in their own right!
Our 2023 Scholarship reception took place On June 28th at Samanea New York in Westbury. Thank you to all who joined us for this 38th annual breakfast to celebrate the 37 students who were awarded scholarships, and to be inspired by James Clark, assistant superintendent for Pupil Personnel Services at the Hempstead Union Free School District.
