FCA Chosen as Hometown Charity for Subaru Share the Love Event

MINEOLA, NEW YORK, November 25, 2019 - FCA has partnered with Hassett Subaru of Wantagh for this year’s Share the Love Event.  Hassett Subaru has chosen FCA as the designated Hometown Charity and beneficiary for this well-known initiative.

A total of $300, $250 directly from Subaru and $50 from Hassett sharethelove_square.jpgSubaru will be donated for every Subaru purchased or leased from November 14, 2019 through January 2, 2020.  In addition, Hassett Subaru is extending a Friends & Family discount to all consumers who stop in and mention FCA when leasing or purchasing a vehicle.

“The Hassett organization is excited about choosing FCA as its Hometown Charity for this year’s Share the Love Event!  We anticipate that the Hassett Subaru team will raise nearly $50,000 for FCA and are proud to support their hard work and extraordinary efforts on behalf of local Long Island Families”, commented Mark Zergebel, Hassett Subaru General Manager.

Subaru’s Share the Love Event has raised over $145 million in the last eleven years for chimage00002.jpegarities across the United States. Donations have been made to four major national charities including ASPCA, Make-A-Wish, Meals on Wheels and the National Park Foundation, as well as over 1,170 local charities. In its twelfth year, Share the Love is expected to raise this total to over $170 million as a result of the current 2019 campaign.
