Leadership Council

Young professionals play a role in our future.

FCA’s Leadership Council is a growing group of young professionals who are passionate about our mission to protect and strengthen Long Island’s most vulnerable children, families, seniors and communities.

The Council
From fundraising to volunteering to increasing awareness for FCA, the Council plays a strategic role in support of FCA’s mission.

Benefits of Service
Among many benefits, Council members:

  • Develop leadership skills and resources to affect change in the community, while working in a cooperative and supportive environment
  • Interact with the staff and Board of Trustees of FCA – one of Long Island’s largest human service organizations, respected as the standard bearer of the work that we do for those in need
  • Gain hands-on experience volunteering, planning service days and organizing fundraising events
  • Enhance their resumés through Council activities and regular volunteerism
  • Network with other civic-minded young professionals at FCA’s events and social gatherings
